Simon Drexler is the Director of Product at OTTO Motors, where he leads the development of the OTTO self-driving vehicle platform. Simon’s mission is to provide efficiency-driven operators, who are focused on growth, with premium intelligent materials handling systems that will yield a greater ROI than anything else on the market. Most recently, Simon was named Supply & Demand Executive Magazine’s Pro to Know for 2016 and named on Plant Engineering’s Leaders Under 40 list.


Previous to his work at OTTO Motors, Simon held multiple progressive roles at ATS Automation. Over a span of 8 years, he managed the execution of multi-faceted automation programs for some of the world’s largest companies with project teams exceeding 70 people and operating 24/7. Simon’s Bachelor of Science Degree in Systems Design Engineering, with an option in Management Sciences, from the University of Waterloo and MBA from Wilfrid Laurier University with a specialization in Strategic Management and International Business Operations, along with his Professional Engineering Designation (P.Eng) have served as a foundation to his career.
